    Chipotle made it through the first hurdle!

    Because I'm so very tired from last night's school board meeting, I'm making this article brief.

    The Planning Commission unanimously voted to recommend that Chipotle take over the interior half of the Hollywood Dome. Commissioners Talesfore and Jensen were absent from the meeting.

    The few main issues discussed were seating, parking, alcohol, and signage. Commissioner Bourgeois made the motion to give Chipotle the green light; however, they will only be allowed to serve beer and margaritas. The applicant, Harlan Faust, stated that Chipotle only serves beer and margaritas and wine would not be a necessary element in the CUP. Personally, I thought it was a little strange that he'd let the PC leave wine off, but what do I know?

    Commissioner Smith was concerned about the signage and the other Commissioners agreed. In my opinion, we all know that building is not a proud landmark for Los Gatos. In fact, some might say it's an eye-sore or that it's embarrassing. I mean, really, the list goes on and on. So, the Commissioners asked that Chipotle consider a "softer" signage policy.     ...
